giftedness that parents frequently identify in their children

Observable Characteristics of Gifted Children -- a list by
Annemarie Roeper, author, educational consultant, and founder of
The Roeper School for Gifted Children in Michigan

Ruf Estimates of Levels of Giftedness (LOG) by Deborah Ruf - a
nice qualitative look at giftedness, based on gifted behavior noted by
parents from babyhood thru childhood. Great for use with children too
young for formal testing or to get a feel for a child's level when formal
testing isn't currently an option.
